Liverpool is the 4th most populous city in the UK. It is most known for its sport, cultural diversity and maritime. It has been heralded as the London of the north due to the wide range of ethnic groups and mixture of contemporary design and ancient architecture. This is what makes Liverpool stand out as a city. The city is an amalgamation of everything British.
Liverpool is also home to the most famous boy band to ever perform: The Beatles.
